SHIPPING INFORMATION Orders
ship via United Parcel Service, Federal Express, DHL or Priority Mail.
We select the most efficient and cost effective method. A street address
is required for all shipments. Allow 5-7 working days for shipments to
the Western states. Some domestic orders less than 3 pounds may ship via
U.S. Priority mail to a U.S. Post Officde Box. TTT
INSURANCE We insure every order for the full value of the shipment in case of loss or damage at no extra charge. TTT
CREDIT CARD ORDERS We only accept VISA & MASTER CARD.
Please specify card number, expiration date and the card holders name.
All credit card receipts are shredded for your security. Our computer purges
your card number after each order for safety. We use Address Verification
Software to match the shipping address with the actual credit card billing
address. Orders from NEW CUSTOMERS can only be shipped
to the actual credit card billing address for the first 30 days. If the
credit card is billed to a PO Box, we must ship to the residential address
for the first 30 days. After 30 days we can ship to a work or business
address. No Air Shipments on initial orders. TTT
C.O.D. ORDERS We DO NOT SHIP RETAIL ORDERS C.O.D. This is not available to retail sales. C.O.D. orders are charged $7.00 extra (or what ever rate UPS has in effect) in addition to all shipping charge and are payable by certified check only, except for pre-approved established dealer accounts. TTT
O/S = OVERSIZE SHIPMENTS Oversize parts are noted as O/S throughout this catalog. UPS considers any package with a length & girth greater than 84 inches to be oversize, no matter what the actual weight. Oversize items are charged an additional fee depending upon distance of and type of destination, i.e. residential or commercial. Items up to 30 pounds are billed an additional $ 7.00 to $ 19.00; 31 to 50 pounds an additional $ 8.00 to $ 31.00; 51 to 70 pounds an additional $ 10.00 to $ 34.00. These figures are approximate and apply only to ground shipments. Shipment of Oversize Parts via Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air is not recommended due to the cost. TTT
ADDITIONAL HANDLING Any package greater than 60" in length requires an Additional Handling Charge of $ 5.00. Item not completely packaged in a corrugated carton (i.e. leaf springs, frame cross members) are also charged this fee. This is not our idea. These fee's are required by UPS and other carriers. They justify these charges since they are manually sorted and cannot travel on the conveyor belts. TTT
SALES TAX Only Connecticut state residents are charged 6 % sales tax. Licensed Connecticut auto part re-sellers are not charged sales tax if they mail of fax a copy of their resale license certificate. We cannot waive the sale tax if you are not listed as an Automotive Product re-seller. If you are not listed with directory assistance as an automotive business we must collect sales tax. If you business is plumbing, heating, architecture, restaurants, etc. we must collect tax. TTT
TRUCK FREIGHT Truck
freight items are noted as such throughout this catalog. Any package that
has a length and girth greater than 130 inches or weights more than 150
pounds must be shipped by truck. These items must be pre-paid or paid by
credit card. DO NOT include shipping charges on truck freight item, since
these charges are paid directly to the truck driver upon delivery. Most
truck companies will deliver to a residential address, however they usually
charge less for commercial deliveries. TTT
SHIPMENT ERRORS If we make an error on your shipment, please promptly notify Customer Service at (203) 366-1332. We will pay for the return shipping and promptly ship the correct item via the same method as the original shipment. TTT
AIR SHIPMENTS UPS
Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select is available at additional cost
if it does not intefere with our other customers orders already in house.
Air packages larger than 1 cubic foot are charged dimensional weight. Dimensional
weight is the length x width x height divided by a constant. If the dimensional
weight exceeds the actual weight, we must charge the dimensional weight
charge. NO air shipments on initial orders. TTT
SATURDAY UPS DELIVERY UPS Saturdays delivery is only available in conjunction with Next Day Air shipments with a UPS additional fee of $ 10.00 in addition to the Next Day Air charges. This service is available in most metropolitan areas, but not available in remote areas. TTT
BACK ORDERS In most cases all items sold through our catalog are in stock & available for immediate shipment. Some large fiberglass and interior upholstery items are drop shipped directly from our manufacturers. Special Order and Date coded items require extra delivery time. Our computerized inventory allows our sales staff to immediately inform you of inventory status. Back ordered items, are usually be shipped within 5-7 days. You will be notified of any unusual delays. Credit card orders are not charged for any back ordered items until shipment is made, except for Special Order or Date Coded items. TTT
DAMAGED SHIPMENT At the time of delivery examine the shipping
carton for damage and have the carrier note any damage at the time of delivery.
If any items are damaged in TRANSIT, SAVE THE CARTON and PROMPTLY NOTIFY
Customer Service at (203) 366-1332. The carrier will pick up the damaged
carton & items & return them to us. We will reship the items when
the items are returned by the carrier. A reshipment prior to return of
the damaged items requires a credit card charge. TTT
SHORTAGES We DOUBLE CHECK every order to assure that items are not missing. Upon delivery inspect your order IMMEDIATELY, even if you do not plan on installing the parts for some time. Shortages must be notified within 48 hours. Call Customer Service at (203) 366-1332 and provide the order number, part number and description of the missing item. No claims will be honored after 48 hours. Please inspect all packaging material and under all the cartons flaps. TTT
FOREIGN ORDERS 
Orders outside the
continental U.S.A. can only be prepaid in U.S. funds or by Visa or Master
Card. Due to the variety of overseas shipping charges, shipping must be
paid by Visa or Master Card. These orders require a daytime phone number
for customs. Brokerage fees, duties and taxes are the customers responsibility.
To prevent errors include all the options and your model year. Indicate
if you are ordering for more than one Corvette. Foreign orders are shipped
via UPS, Airborne or DHL. Orders of small volume and / or value can be
shipped via the Postal Service, but these may not be a reliable or expediant
as commercial carriers. TTT
RETURNS & EXCHANGES All returns require a call to Customer Service at (203) 366-1332 to obtain a Return Authorization Number. This number must be prominently placed on the outside of the shipping carton ABOVE the Dr REBUILD return address. The receiving department will refuse any returned package without a Return Authorization Number. To speed your return, include a copy of the invoice with instructions indicating a refund or exchange. Return shipping must be pre-paid. Protect fragile or easily damaged items. Items damaged during return are the responsibility of the shipper and should be fully insured. A 15% restocking fee will be charged for all correctly sent items. The 15% restocking fee is waived if the return is accompanied by a New order that has a value at least $ 20 Greater than the Return. EXAMPLE: Return a $55. order accompanied by a New order of at least $ 75. and the restocking fee is waived. Shipping charges are not refundable. No Returns will be accepted AFTER 30 days from the ship date. TTT
NON RETURNABLE ITEMS Items held more than 30 days are not returnable. Parts that are installed, altered in any manner or not in the original condition are not returnable. Electrical, Date Coded items, some Special Order fiberglass and some Special Order Interior Upholstery parts are not returnable. Video Tapes, Manuals, Books and Instructional and Trouble Shooting Guides are not returnable if they are removed from their sealed packages. Some parts are packaged in sealed clear plastic packages with an external bold RED LABELS stating “NOT RETURNABLE IF OPENED”. If the package seal is broken, they are NOT RETURNABLE - and can only be exchanged for the same item should they be defective. If they are removed from these sealed packages they are not returnable. RETAIL DISCOUNTS It is not necessary to order $ 500, $ 750, or $ 1,000 per order to obtain a discount. Our discount is built right into our prices - instead of inflating the price to begin with & then offering a phony discount. TTT
WHOLESALE DISCOUNTS Wholesale discounts are available to legitimate auto related shops at our discretion. To receive our wholesale prices, we require a Fax or photocopy of both your state tax number or license, & a copy of advertising from a newspaper, Yellow Pages, or magazine. Shops must be listed with directory assistance as stated on their state tax license. NO Business Telephone Listing = NO BUSINESS. Individuals & hobbyists are not eligible. TTT
